Professor Stulberg teaches courses primarily in the area of alternative dispute resolution; he directed the College's nationally-ranked comprehensive Program on Dispute Resolution from 1999-2006 One of the nations pre-eminent mediator trainers, Professor Stulberg has, for more than 30 years, shaped the development of community-based and court-annexed mediation programs that address complex civil cases and policy controversies as well as service family, interpersonal, and school-based disputes.

Professor Stulberg currently serves as a member of the Ohio Supreme Court Committee on Dispute Resolution, Vice Chair of the Mediation Committee of the Section on Dispute Resolution of the ABA, and Reporter for the Joint Committee on the Model Standards of Conduct for Mediators. The Ohio State University awarded Professor Stulberg its 2003 Faculty Award for Excellence in Community-Based Scholarship to recognize the innovative and extensive ways in which he has integrated student learning with community service.
