After coming off the bench in 2010, Lorrie co-founded a busy mediation practice with another former Judge in Memphis, Tennessee. In December 2014, Lorrie moved to Indianapolis and joined The Mediation Group. Lorrie mediates all types of disputes including cases involving complex commercial disputes, class actions, employment law, personal injury, medical malpractice, premises liability, estates, construction, business matters, family law, and products liability.

Background

Before opening her mediation practice, Lorrie served as a Circuit Court Judge in Tennessee, where she received the Chancellor Rond Judge of Year Award in 2009. Lorrie came to the bench from a busy litigation practice where she handled a broad range of matters, focusing largely on the same areas she currently enjoys mediating. She has tried many jury trials to verdict in both federal and state courts and has argued cases in the 5th and 6th Circuit Courts of Appeals. Prior to joining her law firm, Lorrie served for six years as an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Memphis.
