Mr. Mullin has served as a mediator or arbitrator in over 1,000 disputes and mediates over 200 disputes per year. Over 90% of his mediated cases to date have resulted in a successful settlement. Mr. Mullin has mediated civil disputes in virtually all areas of the law, including class actions, FLSA collective actions, CERCLA disputes, FELA disputes, employement disputes, business and commercial disputes, insurance coverage and personal injury disputes. Background
Mr. Mullin's experience has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America, which lists him in three separate practice areas - Alternative Dispute Resolution, Personal Injury Litigation and Insurance Law. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the International Association of Defense Counsel, and Litigation Counsel of America. Best Lawyers has named Mr. Mullin its ADR attorney of the year in Omaha for 2011. Chambers USA has also recognized him for his mediation experience. Benchmark Litigation has named Mr. Mullin a "Local Litigation Star" for his mediation practice. He is a founding member of the Nebraska Mediation Association, serves as an officer of the ADR Section of the Nebraska State Bar Association, and serves on the Board of the Nebraska Office of Dispute Resolution. Martindale-Hubbell has recognized Mr. Mullin with its highest rating of "AV." Mr. Mullin has demonstrated his commitment to his profession and to his community by serving on numerous law-related and civic boards and committees. He has previously served as President of the Omaha Bar Association and since 1993 has been an elected member of the Nebraska State Bar Association House of Delegates. He serves on the alumni advisory board of Creighton University School of Law and has previously served as President of the board of directors of the Omaha Children's Museum.
