Mr. Lurie has over 35 years' experience as a negotiator, contract drafer teacher, advocate, trial attorney and neutral. His clients include owner/developers, public agencies, architects, engineers, and contractors nationally and internationally. He is experienced in issues of planning, design, and construction, including those involving architecture, mechanical, and electrical; structural; heating; air conditioning; soils, fire protection; foundations and high rise construction; scheduling, delay, and accounting issues; issues of intellectual property; insurance; and regulatory compliance. Contract negotiation experience has included a wide variety of methods including design-build, fast track, engineer-procure-construct (EPC), agency construction management, and multi-prime and general contracting.

Mr. Lurie has worked with attorneys prior to public sessions to identify need for information, identify stakeholders needing to be present and explore the form of the session, the role of experts and personality issues. His style is facilitative or evaluative as the situation requires, avoiding polarizing opinions in public and encouraging client participation in the process.
