Background Rex D. Smith joined the firm in September of 1976. His areas of emphasis are products liability, aviation, traumatic brain injury, insurance law and commercial litigation. Mr. Smith graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics. He graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1976 where he was on the Moot Court Board and a member of the Order of Barristers. He has spent a significant portion of his practice representing Defendants in traumatic brain injury litigation. He has spoken extensively throughout the country on issues related to traumatic brain injury. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Defense Lawyers and the Atlanta Bar Association.
