Background
Mr. Jenks is qualified as a mediator for the Johns Manville Personal Injury Settlement Trust and the Orleans Civil District Court Pilot Program for Dispute Resolution. In addition to mediation, Mr. Jenks lectures extensively on ADR and negotiation and has been a speaker on ADR and/or negotiation for, among others, Loyola School of Law CLE and Skills Training and Tulane Law School CLE Skills Training, Jefferson Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association San Destin Summer School, Louisiana State Bar Association Sole Practitioners Section, Louisiana State Bar Mediator Training, Louisiana Judicial College, Nicholls State University, various city and parish Bar Associations, New Orleans Academy of Trial Lawyers, Marine Surveyors National Convention, Association of General Contractors Ontario Canada Section Convention (and various other AGC chapters), Mid-sized Cities' Mayors Conference, Risk Insurance Managers Association (RIMS), Louisiana Claims Adjusters Association, Offshore Marine Service Association (OMSA), New Orleans City Attorneys Office, New Orleans Claims Association and the Society of Claims Law Associations National Conference. He has given presentations for various other organizations, conventions, corporations and insurance companies including AIG, Allstate, Continental, Farm Bureau, Fireman's Fund, Gray Insurance, hanover, Hartford, Home, Kemper, Liberty Mutual, Prudential, Shelter, St. Paul, State Farm, Travelers and Wausau.
Mr. Jenks has produced and conducted numerous basic and advanced mediator training sessions for MAPS and in conjunction with the Louisiana State Bar Association. Also, he has authored, produced and presented "Negotiation for Success" CLE seminars and "Seeking Common Ground" Mediation Advocacy CLE seminars throughout the area and in conjunction with Tulane and Loyola University Law School CLE programs.
He resides in New Orleans.

Trained as mediator by United States Arbitration & Mediation and the Center for Dispute Settlement (Washingotn, D.C.) and advanced training by the International Academy of Mediators.
Completed "Getting to Yes" Negotiation/Mediation Seminar by Roger Fisher/Harvard Negotiation Project.
