Prof. Lela Porter Love is the recipient of the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award.

Lela Porter Love is Professor of Law and Director of the Kukin Program for Conflict Resolution at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (NYC). Among the highlights of Cardozo's nationally recognized dispute resolution program is the Cardozo Mediation Clinic, which was founded and is directed by Professor Love and was among the first programs in the country to train law students to serve as mediators. Lela regularly conducts mediation and arbitration training programs, teaching both nationally and internationally, and has an active mediation practice, ranging from community disputes to complex litigated matters. She has written widely on the topic of mediation and dispute resolution, including 3 law school textbooks, and mediated a simulated product liability dispute for COURT TV. Her latest book, co-authored with Joseph Stulberg, The Middle Voice, was published in 2008. She is a member of the Bar in New York, New Hampshire and the District of Columbia. She is Chair of the American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolution.
