Prof. Eric Green is the recipient of the ACCTM 2001 Lifetime Achievement Award.
Professor Green teaches ne;tiation, mediation, complex ADR processes, resolution of mass torts and evidence at Boston University School of Law. He is a co-founder and principal of RESOLUTIONS, LLC, a mediation, arbitration and ADR provider in Boston, MA. Professor Green also serves as the court appointed Special Master, Futures Representative and Guardian Ad Litem in class or mass claimant matters.
Professor Green was a co-founder of JAMS/Endispute and a member of the Center for Public Resources Institute of Dispute Resolution since its inception. He was a co-author of the first edition of Dispute Resolution (with ;ldberg and Sander), and has written many books and articles on dispute resolution and evidence. He is best known for inventing the mini-trial in 1977 and applying it and other hybrid forms of mediation to construction, class action, mass tort, professional liability, insurance coverage, environmental and intellectual property cases which involve complicated issues of law, fact and science. In his career, Professor Green has delivered hundreds of lectures, panel discussions and training sessions on ADR and taught or supervised more than a thousand students in ADR while maintaining an active ADR practice for complex, legally intensive disputes.
