About

Robin Anthony Blanton, a third-generation Floridian, has been a civil trial lawyer in Vero Beach, Fla., for 45 years and has made the leap to a full-time neutral practice with Upchurch Watson White & Max.

Robin has extensive jury trial experience throughout the state and has been a solo practitioner, as managing shareholder of Robin A. Blanton P.A. since 2004, as well as a founding member of a large law firm. He credits his years of trial experience as invaluable in helping parties at mediation to avoid the stresses, uncertainties, and costs of litigation.

 

Background

He received his undergraduate degree from Stetson University in 1973 and his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1977. He is admitted to The Florida Bar; the trial bar of the U.S. Southern District of Florida; the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida; the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeal for the 11th Circuit; and the U.S. Supreme Court.

He has served both local and state bar associations. He is a past President of the Indian River County Bar Association. He has been a member of the Grievance Committee for the 19th Judicial Circuit, and he has been a recipient of the Pro Bono Service Award for Indian River County. He has served as a member of The Florida Bar’s Committee on Professionalism. Robin enjoys an AV rating with Martindale-Hubbell, and he has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers in general litigation.

Robin is an avid fly fisherman and a licensed private pilot who flies a vintage Cessna tail dragger.
