Mr. Max is a Fellow, Past President, and Past Board Member of the American College of Civil Trial Mediators and a fellow of the Alabama Academy of Attorney Mediators. Mr. Max is a member of the Regional CPR Distinquished Panel of Neutrals and Founder of the Alabama Circuit Court Mediation Rules. He has authored numerous articles on mediation for professional journals and seminars, and is a noted speaker on mediation throughout the country. Among the honors that Mr. Max has received on both a professional and personal level are: the 1998 National Conference for Community and Justice Brotherhood Award for Outstanding Community Service, the 1996 Better Business Bureau Award of Appreciation for Business and ADR., and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference "I have A Dream" Award, 1999. He has also served as State Chairman to the United States Commission on Civil Rights (1985-2000).Education/Training
