The AMERICAN COLLEGE of CIVIL TRIAL MEDIATORS is a nationwide, non‑profit organization dedicated to advancing excellence in the field of civil dispute resolution. 

The College members are Attorneys who work full-time as Mediators, Arbitrators, Judges, Authors, Educators, and Lecturers. The members regularly meet to discuss and promote collaboration, networking, and mentorship.  The College conducts advanced certification programs and workshops for credited continuing education on ethics and standards, methods and techniques, case law and new developments covering a broad spectrum of disciplines in Alternative Dispute Resolution. 

Since 2007, the College has published The American Journal of Mediation.  The Editorial Board accepts articles from College fellows, non-members, attorneys, and law students.  The annual Law Student Writing Competition awards cash prizes to students whose articles are accepted for publication.
