About

Robert Glenn concentrates his practice on Admiralty Law, Construction Litigation, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He has extensive experience handling personal injury and property damage cases in admiralty, charter party disputes, crew wage disputes, and vessel arrests. Mr. Glenn is also an experienced certified mediator who handles mediations and arbitrations both independently and for various national providers. He has been certified as a Mediator by The Association of Attorney Mediators, Inc. since 1993 and has handled over 900 mediations and arbitrations throughout the U.S.

Background

Mr. Glenn is a member of the Savannah Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association and its Forum on the Construction Industry, and the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute (Chairman, 1986). He is a member of the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution. He is a past chairman of the Admiralty Committee of the TIPS section of the ABA. Mr. Glenn served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Maritime Law Association of the United States from 2002 to 2005. He is a member of the MLA’s Maritime Arbitration and Mediation Committee, having previously served as Chairman of the MLA’s CLE committee and of its ADR committee. He is a past Chairman of the ADR Section of the State Bar of Georgia.

Education / Training

He received an A.B., magna cum laude, from Princeton University in 1972, and a J.D. from the University of Georgia in 1976.
